Dr. I. Santi Prabha received her B.Tech, in ECE from JNTU College of Engineering Kakinada in 1980, M.Tech. in Controls & Instrumentation from JNTU College of Engineering Kakinada in 1983 and she was awarded with Ph.D. in Speech Signal Processing by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2005.

She started her teaching career as Lecturer in Electronics & Communication Engineering Department, JNTU College of Engineering Kakinada in the year 1985. Later she promoted as Associate professor in the year 1993 and Professor in the year 2006.

Dr. I. Santi Prabha served in various capacities as Director of Empowerment of Women & Grievances, Chairperson Board of Studies, Head of ECE Department and Worked as Deputy Warden for Lady’s hostel, JNTUK, Kakinada. She visited foreign countries Poland, Denmark, Belgium, US and Sweden for the Academic discussions with Blekinge Inst. of Technology.

She is a senior member of IEEE, member of Indian Society for Technical Education, Fellow member of The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers and Fellow in Institution of Engineers (India).

Dr. I. Santi Prabha has 34 years experience of teaching to UG and PG Classes. She has produced 04 Ph.D. degree holders,1 submitted and guiding 10 Ph.D scholars. She received State best teacher award in 2018.Organized many workshops on advances in signal & image processing, electromagnetic and application, VLSI design software,etc. She has guided more than 100 M.Tech. Projects. She has about 110 publications in various International, National Journals/ Conferences.

Dr. I. Santi Prabha  has organized various programs like on Women Empowerment, Role of  women  in Social  reforms, sensitization programs on Women Scientist scheme for DST projects,   Practices  of  Patenting  and  Intellectual  Property  Rights, Safety, Security  & Threat Awareness Training Program for Girl  Students,etc.
